1. Check Your Tulip Bulbs

Tulip bulbs are alive! Check them upon arrival for rot, dehydration, or diseases. If you notice any issues, contact us immediately so we can assist you. This ensures your flowers will bloom beautifully in spring.

If you notice something unusual with your tulip bulbs or have any doubts, let us know right away. We’ll advise you and provide new bulbs if there’s anything wrong. You can read more about this in our return policy.

Tip 1

2. Store Bulbs in a Ventilated Bag

Keep your bulbs in the breathable bag from The Bulb Farmers. No bag? No problem! Use newspaper, an egg carton, or a mesh bag to keep them dry and ventilated.

3. Keep Your Tulip Bulbs in a Cool, Dark Place

Too much heat or moisture can harm the bulbs. Store them in a dry, dark area at around 15°C, such as a cellar or shed.

4. Storing Tulip Bulbs Indoors

No shed or cellar? Store tulip bulbs in a pantry, cupboard, or garage. Make sure the space is cool and well-ventilated.

5. Store Tulip Bulbs for Up to 4 Months

You can store tulip bulbs for up to 4 months under ideal conditions. Plant them between September and early December for the best results.
