The Nigrum is also known as the black allium. Despite its name, this allium has radiant white flowers. It attracts bees and butterflies and also has the ability to naturalise in the garden, producing many young bulbs each year. Some of these bulbs will over time grow larger and produce beautiful flowers. Cut the flowers when they are half open, and they will last longer in the vase.
